Are you supposed to tip the carpet cleaners?
I have hired a company to come out to clean the carpets in my home…are tips expected and if so what % do you tip them?

Don’t believe that is expected or a standard of any kind. If a service person does exceptional work for a a moderate pay would sometimes round up the final payment as an extra thank you. That has back fired. Actual resentment received from one who stated they didn’t need charity. Another upped the price the next time. Now, just pay the set amount unless they state they under-estimated a bit and are not demanding about it.
