Linda asks…
what cleaners should i use for my carpet?
It has blood stains (from my dog because she couldn’t pass down a bone)It has stains from do poop and a lot of dirt and gravel. What should i use for it???

admin answers:
No home cleaning do-in-yourself system can deal with both dog poop and blood. The pros have special spot pre-treatments which can get almost anything out of the rug, especially if they know what it is.
A commercial cleaner might be able to make it look fine again. They’re all pretty much the same, so go by price when you get quotes from Sears Carpet Cleaning, Coit, Stanley Steamer, or whatever other carpet cleaning services operate in your area.

Paul asks…
How can I remove paint from my carpet?
I have a light tan carpeting and brown acrylic paint was spilled and it is a lot the stain is huge its like a foot by a half foot long the reason this is so huge is because a large jar of acrylic paint was knocked over as my son was rushing out of his room but didn’t notice until he came home that it spilled (hours and hours later)
I know regular carpet cleaners will be a waste of time but does anyone have experience in something that will actually work? I am thinking the only thing that one is paint stripper but how I go about doing it I am uncertain. Also I have read that applying heat such as hot water to acrylic helps? I don’t know what to do, I would really like to try and get it out because its not in a place you can just put a rug over it any suggestions?

admin answers:
You will never get it all the way out

Various methods fail, including carpet cleaners 99 cent cans of carpet cleaner promise everything under the sky,yet do nothing? What to do?
The carpet is supposed to be a light camel or creme color, the stains are hair dye, and yellow medication, tracking from shoes, mainly.

admin answers:
Vinegar and warm water work well for removing hair dye from carpetign, once it has dried it is more difficult. The various methods and assortment of chemicals that you have used might actually have done more harm than good by permanently setting the stains in. You need to have the carpets professionally cleaned. Inform them of what the stains are and the methods you have used to treat them. They have profesional strength solutions to treat any stain out there. They would have the best chance of removing the stains. In the future, the less put on a stain the better, and the best treatment for carpet stains is 1/4 tsp dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of water.

Maria asks…
What is the best product for neutralising cat urine odour on carpet?
Bleach, detergents, carpet cleaners, air fresheners, vinegar, baking soda etc are obviously all useless for this problem.
There are many products on the market that claim to neutralise the odour , has anyone tried something that actually is completely effective, and also keeps the cat from re-offending in the same area?

admin answers:
Call a carpet cleaning company and ask them if you can purchase anything from them. If they say no than call someone else. Cat urine is tough but u might get lucky.
