I have a steam cleaner and two indoor pets. I use commercial products for my steamer. Regardless what you use, always read the back label. It should say, “Safe for children and pets when used as directed”. You can always go to a pet store, and research the line of products they sell. Right now, I am using Woolite Oxy Clean. (I have a cat that has allergies, and it doesn’t seem to bother her). Good luck!

Tipping carpet cleaners?

I will have my carpet cleaned today. The total amount will be about $170 (several rooms plus some furniture). How much should I tip the carpet cleaners? Would $10 each be enought? Or should I go more like 10% each? Thanks.

admin answers:

Tipping is going out of hand.
People are supposed to do a good job without getting tipped .
Their “tip” is repeat business from you.

Look what happened to waiters. When the tipping got out of hand the employer cut down their wages.
Only the employer is the winner in this situation.
