What is the best CARPET care and cleaning?
What should I pay to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms carpet cleaned?
What system or company should I use?
I have very light and dirt carpets, that are ten years old!! How clean will it get?

I work for a property management company and they use COIT. We have a lot of sec. 8 and metro housing apts that get tore up and they do a great job. Our apts use light brown/beige color for carpet cuz its neutral. They get it looking good enough to use for another 1 yr lease and the place gets inspected by the state before its rented. Good luck

What is the Dyson carpet care kit that comes with the DC17?
What exactly is in it and how good does it work? Can it be used with all Dyson vacuums?

admin answers:
If its like the one we got: it has a bottle of enzyme-based spot carpet cleaner, a bag of granular “Zorb” sawdust-looking carpet cleaning powder, and an attachment that is used to work the powder into the carpet. The spot cleaner works on some stains that other products don’t (and vice versa). I used up the “Zorb” stuff: it did seem to bring up a lot of dirt: not as much as steam cleaning it.

Suggestions for everyday vinyl and carpet floor care?
I am used to cleaning hard floors, but am moving to an apartment that has new vinyl floors in the kitchen and living areas and carpet in the bedroom. What are the best methods for everyday maintanance and keeping the vinyl clean and shiny and the carpet odorless and spot free? Suggestions for cleaners that are effective, environment friendly and economic are very much welcomed.

admin answers:
I would love to have such a caring tenant.
Never use soap on the floor to keep it shiny.
If necessary use window cleaner or a little amonia.
As for the carpet, vacuum daily to keep unseen grit and dust from being ground into the carpet.
